Why is Father Services so important?
Father absence is one of the most expansive issues in America today. One out of three children lives in without their biological father in the home, impacting the child with far-reaching effects. Today’s young people belong to the first “father-absent generation,” and they want to find a better path for their own families than the one they experienced. For young men, the idea of becoming a dad is daunting because they have had no model to show them what being a healthy parent means. Now, these men have a choice to make. Do they follow the legacy of their absent father and walk away or do they create a new legacy and become involved, responsible and committed fathers? The choice each man makes has lifelong implications for him, the mother of his children, and the children themselves.
